Top customer reviews By Rudy James Jr.

This is a day one review and I am sure I will up date it over the next few weeks. First background I have been building my own computers since the 80's and gave up on it in the early 2000 hand made v premade cost did not make since any more. So I was buying pre built systems from Dell and an Alienware Alpha being my last pre built before this one. I am interested in the Microsoft Mixed Reality Headsets. None of my current systems work with it..
A bit of research and I was about to buy another Dell when I checked Amazon to see what they have to offer and I found this system. The price is very impressive for the specs it has. I was also trying to build my new system and I could not touch the price..

This system has a good amount of expandability and it has a 7th gen processor the I5 is very good and as time passes you could put in an I7 as the price drops. The price will drop as the 8th gen chips are out. the memory is expandable to 64 gigs. One of the first upgrades would be to 12 or 16 gigs minimum. And there is enough expansion slots to add 2 to 4 drives depending on which ones you add (2.5 or 3.5).

The graphic card is a very good card to play all games to what degree I will update once I have some of my games installed. The 4 gigs keeps you in the games for sometime down the road an upgrade to an 8 gig card would be a good move.

The system is quiet very quiet I can not hear any fan noise from it at all. I have not run any intense games but so far it is running smooth and quiet and the light display is great makes it look sharp. Air flow is pretty good also I do not know if this is unique since I have not built a system in a while but all the drive bays are on the lower quarter of the case at the bottom along with the power supply. This allows for the intake and exhaust to flow though the system with almost no interruption.

Some of the system and included info is a miss print. There are only 4 usb 3 ports two on the front and two on the rear not six as the product page says. The other error in the setup instructions it says the Windows license is on the side of the case it is not and they system will run with out inputting a number.
Over all I love the system so far and again I will update the review as a install and use several programs. To show what you are getting I have included several pictures of my unpacking. Should you buy this system I would say yes and do it soon as the supply of 7th gen chips run out the price may go higher or the system may be sold out.

Day 2 short update. I install the game The Division late last night and set all my setting to the max and I maintained a 60fps the entire game play though. my Alienware Alpha with 8 gigs of ram vs 8 gigs and an I7 4th gen dual core vs I5 7th gen quad core had a hard time maintaining 35fps with setting set on mid. so far very good job
VR Update Well the Fall creator update is out and I applied it to my system and ran the Microsoft Mixed Reality Test program. Everything was past with flying colors (well you do need to add one thing blu-tooth $15.00 from Amazon). I have pre-ordered the Samsung Mixed Reality headset that is coming out Nov. 6. The bad news is Santa says I can not open it until Christmas.

Well here is the after Christmas update. I set up my Samsung Mixed Reality head set to the computer and it works perfectly with it. I installed and played Space Pirates which I have to say is the BEST VR game to play I just love it . I am also playing Arizona Sunshine and Star Trek Bridge Crew. The system drives all of these game with no problem. If you are looking for a system to handle VR this system does it hands down with room to grow Also for Christmas I got Titanfall 2 which is installed and ready for me to give it a try.
